If you’re planning a trip to Bali or anywhere in Indonesia, there’s an important new update you need to know.
As of 1 September 2025, Indonesia has launched the All-Indonesia Digital Arrival Card, a mandatory online system for international travellers.
The goal is to simplify the entry process, reduce airport queues, and replace multiple paper forms with one streamlined system.

What Is the All-Indonesia Digital Arrival Card?
The Digital Arrival Card is a unified online system that combines:
- Immigration arrival card
- Customs declaration
- Health declaration (previously via SATUSEHAT)
- Quarantine forms
Now, instead of juggling different forms, you only need to complete one digital card.
It’s free to complete online (via allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id) or through the mobile app. You must fill it in within 72 hours (3 days) before arrival. Once submitted, you’ll receive a QR code, which is your golden ticket to show at immigration and customs.

Where and When Is It Mandatory?
Since 1 September 2025, the Digital Arrival Card has been mandatory for travellers arriving at:
- Bali (Ngurah Rai International Airport)
- Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta International Airport)
- Surabaya (Juanda International Airport)
- Batam Port
From 1 October 2025, the requirement will expand to all international airports and entry points across Indonesia.

How It Works
- Access the Digital Arrival Card
Complete it online via the official website or the mobile app. - Fill It Out Within 72 Hours Before Arrival
Enter your passport details, travel itinerary, accommodation, transport mode, customs information, health declaration, and IMEI (if applicable). - Get a QR Code
Once submitted, you’ll receive a QR code via email or in the app. Keep this handy, you’ll need to show it at immigration and customs. - Keep in Mind: It’s Not a Visa
The All-Indonesia Digital Arrival Card does not replace a visa. You must still apply separately for the appropriate visa for your trip—such as a Visa on Arrival (VOA), e-VOA, or any other visa type—ideally at least 48 hours before departure.
Why It Matters
- Faster entry: Shorter queues at airports.
- Simplified process: One digital card replaces several paper forms.
- Stronger security: Integrated with immigration and customs in real time.

Other Costs: Bali Tourist Levy
Alongside the new All-Indonesia Digital Arrival Card, travellers to Bali must also pay the Bali Tourist Levy, introduced in February 2024. This levy helps fund environmental protection, cultural preservation, and infrastructure projects—so your contribution goes directly towards keeping Bali’s beaches, temples and traditions beautiful for years to come.
The levy is IDR 150,000 per person (around USD 14–15) and applies to all foreign visitors, including children and babies.
How to pay?
- Pay in advance through the Love Bali website or the Love Bali app
- If you forget, you can still pay upon arrival at the airport (but expect longer queues)
- Once paid, you’ll receive a QR code receipt. Keep a screenshot on your phone, as you may be asked to show it when entering Bali
